Feedback Control of Pneumatic Linear Actuator

This project is the product of an independent-study class taken with Dr. Luis A. Rodriuez. The task is to create a low-budget test stand to showcase the differences between Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and ElectroMechanical actuators. The flow diagram and electrical circuit of the solution are available by request to my email, found on the main page.

Future work includes investigating the ability to control not only the position, but the velocity of the actuator without using expensive equipment. The identified potential solution is to control the solenoids using PWM, which is currently being investitated.
